I’ve been a Hotwire Hotel customer for 3 years now and I would recommend this to anyone. Hotwire works as a “blind item” reseller, basically, you won’t know the name or address of the hotel until you purchase it – that’s why it’s so cheap. Hotels can get rid of excess inventory, without compromising their name and you get a 4 star hotel for a bargain price. You choose the area where you want to stay and hotwire will give you a list of hotels, the prices, star ratings and amenities of that hotel, but not the name or exact address.
You do have to do a lot of research to try to guess which hotel you may be looking at and the area you are choosing from. Also, there is NO REFUNDS. Also be prepared to get a room that may not be premium – it’s still going to be a standard room, but you may have a bad view or on a lower floor and occasionally, a smoking room. Otherwise, it’s a great value for your money.
