First off when i mean kids i am talking about kids under 6 years of age.
I have 2 young girls almost 5 and 2 and they love to watch tv.
Now as much as i don’t like them watching tv i do see some programs that teach the kids.
This is very important at there age , it is not a bad idea to expose them to a little tv as long as
the shows are good for them. By saying good for them i mean shows that actually teach them something along with providing a little entertainment.
Now i have to say when i turn the tv on for them i don’t even have to ask what channel because they will let me know “2…2….1….dad” my 2 year old will mumbled out.
221 is treehouse were we live and just happens to have some of the best kids programs on tv today.
From dora, to Yo Gabba Gabba to max and ruby. Some of these might seem boring to us but if you do watch them you can see how they are teaching the kids some important stuff.
Treehouse is mostly comprised of Nickelodeon programs which have become some of the most recognized kids tv programs today.
If you happen to be one of the homes that don’t have treehouse you can buy just about every dvd , toy and show they have at Nickelodeon Store.
