| After months of being a 1800diapers.com customer, I realized it was time to edit my original review. First, the site now goes by the name diapers.com. Along with the name change, they have also made many improvements to their website which now makes diapers.com an even better place to buy diapers!
I love shopping at diapers.com. At first I wasn’t sure that the prices were any better than at regular stores, but once I did a close comparison I realized they were. I happen to buy Pampers, and I realized that their value box of diapers was about the same price as the value box at my local supermarket, but the “value box” at the supermarket contained a smaller quantity of diapers! So for the same price as I normally paid at my local store, diapers.com offered me more diapers, plus the convenience of free shipping. Diapers.com now offers free shipping on all orders over $50. In the past, they had two delivery options (one was free for orders over $50 and one was $2). The free shipping option did not provide you with a tracking number, and shipping could take up to 3 weeks. The $2 shipping was considered “premium”, and it provided much faster shipping via UPS with a tracking number. Now, all of the shipping is considered premium, and it is now free instead of $2. I have placed multiple orders with diapers.com, and have received them all in 2 days or less. Most times, I receive my orders the very next day. I could not be happier with their shipping. This website also takes manufacturer’s coupons, so when I get coupons I simply send them in. Customer service then sends me an email letting me know my coupons have been received. I then go into my account at diapers.com and find the code they applied to each of my coupons and enter that code at checkout. It is a very simple process. I do, however, try to wait until I have a few coupons because with stamps costing $0.42 each, the price of a stamp does tend to reduce the savings on a $1.00 off coupon. But if I have 3 or more coupons, then it is totally worth it. Diapers.com also has a great referral program. This program has resulted in me earning big discounts off of my diaper purchases. Some people have accumulated so many referral credits that they have actually received free diapers! I am not there yet but one day would love to be! The program works like this: once you are signed up as a customer, diapers.com gives you a unique referral code. You can give your code to new customers. For every new customer who signs up and uses your code, they get $10 off their first order and you get $1 in referral credits. Every time that new customer places an additional order, you get another $1. I have had one friend place 10 diaper orders and she used my code when she signed up, so I made $10 by referring her over the past year. My code is SAVEMORE in case you are interested. Again, that will save you $10 off your first order! Finally, I wanted to mention one other item not in my original review. I was not sure if this would be a short term promotion, but it has been going on since I first joined over 8 months ago. As part of your first order, you will also receive a free subscription to Parenting Magazine. If you already have a subscription, they will automatically renew it for you if you would like. Or, you can get a refund off your first order of about $10 (I forget the exact amount). Diapers.com will send you a postcard in the mail. If you do nothing, you will start receiving your new subscription (or they will renew your existing subscription). If you want, however, you take your postcard and write “Cancel” on it and mail it to the address provided. Parenting Magazine will then issue you a refund equivalent to the one-year subscription rate. I opted for this and received a check for about $10 after 30 days. I highly recommend this website to anyone who hates frequent trips to the store for diapers as much as I do. If you are skeptical about the prices, compare what you buy in the stores to what diapers.com sells in their value boxes. You will probably find diapers.com offers a better value. Recommended: |
