Well i have to tell you that i have used many laptops in my life and this new Toshiba Laptop i just bought is by far the best i have ever bought.
Now i know every new laptop “is the best” because usally a new laptop is alot faster, but this is not what i am judging on.
This is the first laptop that i have bought that all the software actually works bug free. Not only that that the toshiba software that is installed is actually usefull.
Lets take the “radar” software they have installed. Basically its a radar on your screen that shows all the wifi and bluetooth connections around you, showing distance as well. You can hover over the individual hotspots and see if they are open or not.
One of the nice things is that the vista 64bit actually works without a hitch at all. Every other laptop i have bought has had somesort of software/driver issue that never seems to get worked out with vista.
I bought a toshiba satellite with and intel core duo cpu T5800 2.00ghz processor with 4gb of ram running vista 64bit, has spidif out, hdmi out and much much more.
In my option it was a hell of nice deal as well for $699
